If you have health insurance through your employer and at least one person covered is eligible for Medicaid, you may be eligible for assistance through the Health Insurance Premium Payment (HIPP) Program.
Under the Bureau of Medical Services, HIPP will pay the premiums, deductibles and copaymets for Medicaid-eligible individuals. It also will assist recently unemployed people with COBRA benefits through their former employer.
