Wells Fargo TPA Changes Name to HealthSmart Benefit Solutions

Effective Jan. 1, 2012, Wells Fargo TPA, PEIA's third-party administrator, changed its name to HealthSmart Benefit Solutions, Inc., because of the the recent purchase by HealthSmart Holdings, Inc., of Irving, Texas. Only the name has changed!

Medical claims will be handled by the same service team in Charleston, W.Va. and in the same quick, professional and courteous manner that you are used to.

All contact information, including phone numbers and addresses, will stay the same.

Explanation of benefits (EOBs) and communication letters will be rebranded with HealthSmart logos by Jan. 21.

ID cards will be modified with the HealthSmart Benefit Solutions name at a later date. All members should continue to use their current ID card.

To log into the Web site, visit www.healthsmart.com. Policyholders can click on "Members" at the top of the screen. A new screen will pop up, asking if you are a Wells Fargo TPA customer. Click on that link to be directed to the normal sign-in screen.
